The space for civil society is increasingly under pressure in Europe, endangering the EU values of participation, pluralism and solidarity.

As Members of the European Parliament determined to safeguard these values, we endorse this Manifesto to reaffirm our commitment to protect and support the essential role of civil society, as already called for by the European Parliament in its 2022 resolution on shrinking civic space.
